I think this will be the only game in the Summer of Arcade that I don't buy. I'll still try the demo though.
I already have Geometry Wars 2 which more than satisfies my need for 2D space shooters. I'm probably just going to wait for castle crashers.

I have a feeling most of you will be surprised by the demo. Don't write off Galaga Legions just yet. The true sucessor to one of the most popular space shooter guys of all time should be worth at least something...
In other news, Major I'm wondering what this month's Xbox Original will be. August is more than half over and still no news. Waiting and hoping for RTCW (Wolfy) to be made available. Any news?

This will probably be the worst Summer of Arcade game, but then, it could be great at the same time. All of the games this summer have been fantastic, starting with Go Go Break Steady.
Can't believe how many people aren't giving Galaga Legions a chance, especially after the greatness of PacMan CE and how well it played when it dropped...
...and BTW, Major--could we have someone look into getting Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on XBL as a downloadable Xbox Original?

I never tried Pacman CE, but heard it was fantastic. I'm really looking forward to Galaga Legions. Will probably be a purchase on day one.
I do think they should've rescheduled the Summer lineup, with Galaga Legions coming out after Braid. Anything releasing between BC:Rearmed and Castle Crashers is bound to be overlooked, as both of those games had a substantial amount of hype behind them.
I'm surprised at how many people aren't excited about this game. It's being developed by the same team that did Pac-Man: Championship Edition (which was my Game of 2007 pick), the visuals look fantastic (Geo Wars 2 levels of fantastic), and the gameplay looks to be a nice mix of frantic action and strategy.
XBox Originals should bring us Conker... that would be amazing.
And BTW Galaga Legions could be awesome, much like Pac Man CE was, or terrible, if its just a crappy remake of the old shooter. I'll wait for the demo before dissing this game out.

How can you call it the worse? Have you even played it yet?
Bionic commando = 800points and is grade A game with tons of replay value.
Braid = great puzzle game but short and little or no replay value 1200points
Galga = utter crap 800 points.
can MS get some price consistency going? you can't just treat xbla games like off the shelf games and charge the same, you have to charge based on quality.
