Wow. Finally an interview I am really interested in. Can't wait to hear what Jonathan Blow has to say. Braid is really quite an amazing game.
you interviewed jonathan blow! yeah go major!
Braid sounds pretty cool...
Bionic Commando Rearmed, a game perfect but without online coop and 1 vs 1 via Xbox Live.
I this very frustated, angry and confused by in videos i view or understand that have coop online (by default of all Xbox Games) and i pay directly and discover that... no have coop online! argghhh!!!
Please, Microsoft need help in this game for make a uptade with online... i remember Mechwarrior and this is possible in Xbox Live.
This is a call for make a online mode via XBox Live in Bionic Comando Rearmed for go after of play in Bionic Commando (DVD) or make competitions 1 vs 1.
OMG! BCR without online in Xbox 360! noooo!!
¿I have a XBox 360 or a Wii? :S
Holy crap, Nervio, did you copy and paste that from Google Translate?
Um, hate to spoil... MAJOR NELSON CHALLENGE ROOM?! Explain. NOW.
@Anon 2
I assume this is what you're talking about, correct?

Although the last part wasn't in the interview initially, if you read the entire thing, which now includes a comment he made on the article, it's quite clear that he doesn't "hate" Microsoft. He just dislikes some of their XBLA rules.
@Nervio
Even if the game did have online co-op or versus, it'd be empty within a few weeks. A vast majority of XBLA game's multiplayer isn't important because theres no one to play with shortly after launch.
Unless you go through the trouble of tracking people down who do play the game often and adding them to your friends list.
In the after show "e" mentions how he knows Harry & David and then goes on to say Aplets & Cotlets. That's not Harry & David. Aplets & Cotlets is Liberty Orchards out of Cashmere, WA. They have been making candy since 1920. Take the drive out on highway 2 to Eastern WA and take the factory tour. It is a fun day trip from Seattle.
Oh and Major you need to give Kid Valley another chance. Ignore the Bellevue location and try the one North of U Village or the one at the base of Queen Anne Hill.
We had Jonathan on the SavyGamer podcast the week Braid was released. IIRC it's about a 45-minute interview, and he explains the relationship with XBLA in great detail.

@TaygetaVendetta
-So true!! I'm a co-op fiend, usually the co-op feature is what makes or breaks a sale for me. Though Army of Two is the only instance of a game I skipped because of the reviews - the demo was enough for me.
Co-op should be in all games worthy of it: puzzle games, adventure games, FPS games, RPGs, racing, fighting, of course sports and trivia games.
Bionic Commando Rearmed the challenges are AWESOME!! I'm going to purchased it later though as I'm beating games I'm getting rid of to get more games. The graphics and animation are awesome!! The challenge results for other gamers on the leaderboards are a great way to pace yourself and beat their scores!
major im sure you might be planning something like this but i would love to see you record one of your presentations at pax for the new xbox experience. and post the whole thing somewhere (or inside xbox or somewhere that we can watch). i imagine some things will be shown there we havent seen before and it would be nice for those of us who will not be able to attend to get the same info about the new xbox experience.
Great show Major! I'm looking forward to play Major Nelson Challenge room if I ever purchase BC:RA.
Major, quick question for you and E.
How do you guys go about playing at work and then at home? Do you guys take out your HD and bring it to work with you and then home again or do you recover it from XBL every time you play online? Just curious because I know when I recover my gamertag maybe once or twice a month it's a slow and annoying process and I couldn't see myself doing that every day.
Thanks,
Jason
